Comcast, It’s Not The Holidays Until…

For the first time ever in Xfinity’s history, we utilized Google’s Beta Director Mix tool to bring the core campaign,“It’s Not The Holiday’s Until…” to life.

We combined context and data to serve 50+ personalized OLVs to 41 million unique viewers. For each interest, subject, and video that peaked during December, we served a video specifically tailored to that common thread of a shared tradition. Whether it was searching for DIY ornaments, Latke recipes, or streaming a yule log fire, we found the through line and uniquely stitched together 3 dynamic base videos with dynamic copy speaking directly to their environment.

Results: We garnered a 2.1% increase in ad re-call and captured a 56% increase in view through rate above YouTube’s benchmark.
